Employee Of The Month

earlier tonite i had my staff meeting. the usual things were said. what to do, what not to do. u know the deal. but my boss had one extra surprise. he actually announced the first ever "Employee of the Month." n it was ME!!!! hooyeaahhh!!! I was sooooo proud! and still am! hahaha. oh mann, kaya a giddy darjah satu girl who just got nombor satu di dalam kelas. eeekkk! actually walked back to my place all light on my feet, skipping a few steps. hehehe got myself a nice certificate with my name printed nicely n huge on it, and get this: a walmart gift card! eekkkk! i know its just walmart but hey, i take any form of free spending i can get even if it's fr walmart! eeekkk!

on a not so excited note, the girl who i was rooting for to sing with Justin on the Grammy Awards tadi didnt win. ceeehhh. not even my 2nd pick! n i totally voted! bleurghhh. the girl who won was yeah, quite good, a little awkward here n there but who can blame her rite? suddenly announced to sing with Justin a few seconds before the performance was to start, im sure she was totally flabbergasted. but i can imagine my fav wud hv been able to perform so much better cos she seems so lepak n effortless. oh well. u cant expect ur team to win everytime betul kaaaan?

it's been 5 days since i went to class (weekend inc. mind u!) n ihhhh malassss amat! must wake up pagi2 buta laginya. ihhhh.. good thing i dont hv to stay up tonite n slave over my assignments. that wud hv been crazy. oh yes, im thankful. i think ur life lessons are more valuable than what u learn in school but then again, that's how the system works. n so, who am i to go against the system? im not strong enough to go against the Man. damn, the man! i just wish that when it's time for me to actually step into the working world (god forbids!!!! *cringe*), quite some time fr now, i wud be given a chance to be hired based on the promise of what i am able to deliver, and my passion for that particular area rather than getting overlooked just because i hv a degree in a totally urelated field. oh well, lama lagi. so rite now, i dont particularly give a shit. yeah, i know. pretty lame. but whatev. i need to enjoy the feel of not having major career responsibilities and worries. n hey, shud i remind u again that I am after all, the EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH? ahahahaha sombong ah? ya mesti la!
