When you spent the last four years of your life talking to that one person everyday, having him on your mind with every breath you take, wondering if he's okay, if he's managed to eat anything at all, sharing your every hope and dream, constantly trying to be a better person for him, just wanting to please him and make sure he gets through everything, it's hard to kick the habit. It's phenomenally hard. No matter how much you try it doesn't get any easier. It still eats you up from the inside that the pain becomes somewhat a part of your being. It remains a constant struggle that just sucks the life out of you.
